This book is the first in a series on railroad stations and structures. The main
focus of this publication was to document; by means of written history and
illustrations, stations and structures of the Central Railroad of New Jersey
during the time period of 1900 to 1930. It was written by railroad historian
Benjamin L. Bernhart who holds a BA degree in history and who has written 14
other publication. Mr. Bernhart is most noted for his 4 volume set on Reading
Railroad stations. The book was edited by Jay Leinbach, a retired school teacher
and hobby shop owner. The majority of the photograph were never published
